THE GOOD, BAD, UGLY & THE MEGAN FOX: Ravens v. Colts
The Best Baltimore Ravens Blog &bull Dec 12, 2011
The Baltimore Ravens v. the team formerly known as the Baltimore Colts. Just the mention of the game in years past was enough to raise the collective blood pressure of Baltimore area fans. Mix in the Colts 8 game winning streak against the Ravens and you might expect a pretty tense atmosphere at M&T Bank Stadium. Not yesterday, not the entire week leading into the game. No one was worried and with good reason. The 2011 Colts stink! It is mind boggling how much a difference one player makes to a franchise but… Full Story »

Notes on a frosty Wednesday
Somers on Cardinals on Azcentral.com &bull Dec 7, 2011

SevenQuest - Part Eleven
Steelers Fury &bull Nov 29, 2011
This is the part where I'm supposed to assuage fears, bring perspective and wrap up the week. But there's no perspective necessary - the Steelers went into Arrowhead and came out of the House of Madness with a win, the madness more a reference to all the weird games the Steelers have played in Kansas City over the years than a reference to the crazed Kansas City fans. I like the fact that Maurkice Pouncey is just ill, and Troy is just concussed. Annoyances? Yes. Season-breakers? Nope. For all the talk about Doug Legursky knowing the offense better… Full Story »

It Don't, Come, Easy
Baltimore Beatdown &bull Nov 21, 2011
Nothing with this year's edition of the Baltimore Ravens is simple. Give the Cincinnati Bengals their props, they are definitely an up and coming team and may have finally, finally got most of the pieces in place; they just need a little more time. With rookie WR A.J. Green out, at home, we should have put this team to bed much earlier and not let them back in with a chance to tie it up and force OT.Now, I cannot bucket QB Joe Flacco or rookie CB Jimmy Smith. Both made great plays, but then they both made blatant mistakes.… Full Story »

Identity-challenged Ravens might be closer to finding themselves
NFL News on CBS Sportsline &bull Nov 21, 2011
The Ravens are the NFL's biggest riddle. Are they a power team that bloodies the opposition the way they have done against some of the league's better teams this season? Or are they the team that has lost to Tennessee, Jacksonville and Seattle on the road? Even the Ravens' 31-24 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday is a case study in their inconsistency. They trailed by 7, led by 17 and then had to hold… Full Story »
